Garden & Nursery Visits

Puriri Lane gardens were opened in the Spring of 2017 and are some thirty-five years old and are planted in an English woodland style with a  collection of twenty five Magnolias, Red Woods, Cherries and other exotic trees. Complementing this are numerous perennial plantings, a pond and a vintage-inspired English shepherds hut nestled in a cottage garden within a small orchard.

A potager garden and large flower cutting patch complete with our free-ranging heritage hens Bluebell and Harriet add to the personality of our country garden.
Our perennial nursery is available for you to peruse and offers many varieties of vintage style perennials and annuals not often seen. Plant information is readily available to assist you in selecting your plants, and we are always available to provide advice where needed. The gardens and nursery are open to garden groups by appointment, please get in touch with us to make a time to visit, experience and take part of Puriri Lane.
Nursery Open Days will be posted on our events page at which time individuals are welcome to visit the gardens and nursery. Follow us on Instagram or FaceBook to see when we will be having Nursery Open Days.
Please note that the gardens are closed to visitors at present due to Covid-19 and we will reopen once we have advice on this situation.  Our online shop however is still open, and we thank you for supporting our small business over this challenging period.   We believe that "To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow" so if you are in self isolation why not beautify your home environment with our
retail offering of botanically inspired gifts and garden-wares.

We look forward to welcoming you to Puriri Lane in the future when things return to normal but in the mean time, please enjoy shopping with on line.
