Calycanthus x raulstonii | Hartlage Wine
This plant must have had the most "oohs and aahs" when people visit our gardens.
This stunning shrub will produce its lightly scented flowers from late spring and often up until Christmas. The flowers themselves are a delight and form along the branched. They are Magnolia like in appearance and a rich shade of burgundy red, with just a touch of cream towards their centre which are very attractive against the backdrop of their lustrous green foliages which turns to buttery shades in autumn. This plant likes some shelter from cold drying winds but other than that it is hardy. Happy in a partial shade position although some morning sun is fine. Prune after flowering.
Up to 2 metres x approximately 1.5 m wide although can be pruned to shape
These plants are big shrubs approximately 1metre x 600 Wide so this beauty is for Auckland "Click & Collect" only.
20 Litre Pot | Deciduous
