Campanula punctata | BeetrootRegular price $12.00 Save $-12.00
Campanula punctata Beetroot is a real show-stopper which has large tubular bells which are heavily washed with a dark purple outside and liberally spotted inside with red and purple, and the petals are slightly flared on the end. You do however tend to get some variations in colour due to them being seed grown, but all are equally stunning. If they are cut back after the first flowering, further crops of flowers can often be obtained. Flowering from early summer to well on into autumn which also makes this a great candidate for cutting.
A particularly striking specimen making a slowly-spreading carpet and happy in full sun to partial shade. Flower stems stand above the foliage as seen in the photo taken in our gardens at Puriri Lane.
