Regular price $12.00

'Burrow Silver' is an evergreen perennial with narrow, cream-edged, green leaves and large, showy clusters of similarly variegated flower bracts, containing small cupped green-yellow, flowers.  Flowering is from early spring to mid-summer.

The sap of euphorbias is poisonous, so contact with the skin should be avoided. It can cause a blistering or rash reaction in some people. The wearing of gloves and long sleeves is therefore advisable when handling the plants. The problem of dealing with the sap is reduced if immediately after cutting the stems are gently pushed into the soil to reduce the flow or bleeding of sap.

Burrows Silver will thrive in a sheltered spot and does like to be protected from the wind.  It has an upright growth habit and is happy in a sunny or partially shaded position.  It is not overly hardy so some protection from the conditions is important as is good drainage. Can be used as a cut flower and is loved by pollinators.
