Fibigia clypeata | Roman Shields
Fibigia clypeata also known as Roman Shields is a charming little plant for the front border or rockery with attractive grey-green leaves and sprays of small yellow flowers that stand above the foliage which as the season progresses transform into very attractive grey-green egg-shaped seed pods rather like small eggs clustered up the stems.
Fantastic for drying and popping into a vase or using in floral work. Whilst this plant is a perennial, it is relatively short-lived, but you can collect the seed from the pods. The key to success with this little plant is a sunny well-drained position.
Height with flower stems 30cm x 30cm Wide
