Heuchera villosa | Bronze Beauty
We just love this plant here at Puriri Lane as it is wonderful under our trees and when in a shaded position the leaves are the most divine colour! This lovely plant produces beautiful caramel toned leaves with an amber shimmer that are both striking and architectural. The tall flower stems that stand above the foliage carry lovely cream flowers. This plant makes a real statement.
This cultivar like Heuchera villosa Chantilly that we also sell is quite tolerant of hot and humid summers unlike some of the other heucheras. Consistent moisture is appreciated so mulching certainly helps. They do like a well drained position in full sun to partial shade but in hotter temperatures respite from the hot afternoon sun is appreciated. Drought tolerant once established but if it becomes too dry foliage is reduced.
Flowers are great for cutting and ensure your plant continues to repeat flower. Plants can be divided in spring every 3-4 years to give you more plants. A great choice for woodland style gardens, rocky slopes or native plant areas.

- Our freight is calculated by weight and volume. For plant orders, you may wish to order the maximum number of plants that will fit in a box to make freight more cost-effective or perhaps share an order with a friend
- Plant orders will only be dispatched on Monday's and Tuesday's this will ensure that your order is not held in a depot over the weekend
- All parcels are set at "Authority to leave" which means if you're not home at the time of delivery the courier will leave your parcel in a safe place on your property
- Most NZ Post deliveries are a two-day service with the exception of rural and South Island delivery which may add up to two days.
