Leucanthemum x Superbum | Wirral SupremeRegular price $12.00 Save $-12.00
This is a super pretty Leucanthemum or Shasta daisy with a pretty ruff of long white, slightly reflexed petals. The centre is comprised of densely packed, short petals with a brightly coloured lemon centre. We think this is one of the prettiest double varieties. It is tall with flower stems to around about 1 metre. It will flower throughout the summer to add a coolness and freshness to your summer border. In addition to this it makes a fantastic cut flower.
Plants prefer a full sun position but will cope with some shade. They like a moist but well drained soil so will benefit from being mulched.
Plants should be divided in early spring or late summer every few years to avoid them getting congested which will reduce flowering. Protect young plants from slugs and snails. Cut to the ground in autumn, and fresh new growth will appear in spring.
