Lychnis coronaria | Alba
Rose Campion is a biennial plant so in its first year it develops it leaves, flowering in its second year. Successive plants are guaranteed as it will self-sow given the right growing conditions but are easily removed if you don't like where they are growing. Silvery grey felted leaves with stems of lax white coloured flowers that are about 3cm in diameter.

Loved by pollinators it is happy in a sunny position or will tolerate some partial shade. We plant it beneath our Roses as it hides their bare legs! We also have Lychnis coronaria "Gardeners World" which is a double and the single Lychnis coronaria "Rose Campion" in cerise.
