Wonderful claret red almost black coloured flower spikes that stand proud of the foliage make this a standout plant for your garden.  Attractive silver-grey foliage offsets the stunning flowers which last up to 10 days in a vase.  Happy in either full sun or partial shade in moist but well-drained soil. I have found with this plant that it is almost annual for us but it does set seed so I have been happy to find small seedlings popping up.  I also read that in colder climates that they describe it as deciduous so if you are further south then you may see it disappear over winter.  If you intend to collect the seeds, be careful as the flower spikes are very sharp!

Height 60cm x 25cm Wide

Short-lived perennial

Plant size: PB2 - Equivalent 1.2 litres
