Get the most out of your garden by working with the influences of the moon...This calendar is invaluable for planting by the moon.  Early each month match the date of the new moon with the new moon on the inner wheel. 

Leave in place until the following month.  Read around the wheel as the month progresses and follow its guide as to when to cultivate when to spray when to sow and more. 

This knowledge has been traditionally used by many cultures including the Maori using these natural cycles to benefit their gardening.  As an example pruning before the full moon when the sap is rising results in bleeding wounds but after the full moon is the best time to prune.

TIP:

I have actually laminated mine as use it all of the time and you can simply pull the centre piece out and get it laminated and then cut out the circles and then re pierce the centre  -  it worked a treat and then you will have it forever, and if it gets wet or dirty, you can simply wipe it clean!

Depending on the number of plants you are ordering the cost of freight will vary as indicated by the shipping rates below.
  • Auckland City | $12 minimum
  • Middle North Island | $15 minimum
  • Rest of North Island | $16 minimum
  • South Island | $25 minimum
Please note... Shipping to South Island is applied as Economy by default. If you wish to upgrade your order to overnight courier, please add this to the note section of your order or get in touch with us and we will contact you with the price difference and await your confirmation.
If your order exceeds shipping rates (Shipping rates are calculated to 24kg maximum = approx. 24 x 1 Litre sized plants), please contact us for assistance at hello@puririlaneaddenbrooke.co.nz to organize shipping arrangements.
    For smaller items such as moon calendars, books, cards, stationery and other items can be sent for a lesser rate which will be automatically applied, which you will see at checkout.

    Upon checking out, the freight charged is applied based on weight and your location, including rural destinations.

    • All of our orders are dispatched using NZ Post which is a fully tracked service   
    • Our freight is calculated by weight and volume.  For plant orders, you may wish to order the maximum number of plants that will fit in a box to make freight more cost-effective or perhaps share an order with a friend
    • Plant orders will only be dispatched on Monday's and Tuesday's this will ensure that your order is not held in a depot over the weekend
    • All parcels are set at "Authority to leave" which means if you're not home at the time of delivery the courier will leave your parcel in a safe place on your property
    • Most NZ Post deliveries are a two-day service with the exception of rural and South Island delivery which may add up to two days.
