perfect for pollinators

This Nasturtium is simply divine! The petite flowers are a smoky raspberry colour and as they age they fade to cream with purple veining, so the plant becomes a stunning kaleidoscope of colours.  The foliage is also petite and it is a relatively compact variety with a mounding habit.  The stems will lengthen over time making them fantastic for arranging and the unique colourings are stunning. It is also a perfect choice for a pot, and an absolute must for the cutting garden.  In addition to this Nasturtium flowers make a very pretty addition to salads. Easy to grow, the plants prolifically flower from spring.

If using the flowers in floral work, harvest the flowers when they are just open to achieve the longest vase life.  If using the foliage, pick the leaves or full vines when they become leathery or firm to the touch for the best longevity. Both flowers and foliage last for around 7-10 days in a vase and even longer if you add a touch of our home made flower preservative  and making your cut flowers last longer which you can read all about here

Grow in full sun.  Whilst the plant is an annual, it will self sow.
