Nicotiana langsdorffii

Regular price $10.00

This Nicotiana which is a species of ornamental tobacco makes an excellent companion for other garden plants.  Its flowers are a Granny Smith apple lime green and look fabulous with dark-foliaged plants and shrubs as well as looking good with grasses. The chartreuse green trumpet-shaped flowers make a great moderator wherever colours clash.  The panicles of drooping bells are held on fishing-rod-like stems.  If you have a look inside the flowers you will see that the pollen is actually blue!

Nicotiana langsdorffii also has a propensity to self-sow but in our opinion, that's a great trait! An excellent cut flower with a vase life of around 7 days - a perfect addition to your garden or your cutting patch.

Flowers summer and into autumn.  Full sun to partial shade.  If you live in a hot area of the country you will need to provide partial shade.

Height 70cm -1m High x 55cm Wide

Annual | Will self-sow

Plant size: PB2 equivalent 1.2 litres
