perfect for pollinators

Love-in-a-mist as it is also known is an old fashioned garden annual that is definitely on our list of top annuals to grow with its pretty blue delicate flowers held on ferny foliage. Miss Jekyll Indigo looks wonderful planted amongst other garden perennials and will self-sow so you will find it popping up everywhere.  Plant in full sun to get maximum flowering.

Love-in-a-mist is a standout cut flower and if left striking pod-shaped, horned seed heads will result which also look fantastic mixed in with both fresh and dried arrangements so it does double duty which is one of the things that we love about it.  The more you cut the flower stems the more you will be rewarded with more flower throughout summer

Bees will also love you for planting this delicate little annual. Easy care, this plant actually thrives on a little neglect!
