Also known as Venus's navelwort, omphalodes linifolia is an annual that self-sows. In early spring flower stems emerge from the attractive blue-grey foliage into a cloud of pristine white forget-me-not like flowers. Omphalodes is also excellent for cutting and oh so pretty in a vase or arrangement. A very pretty plant for in front of Roses with it airy wafty flowers and quite at home in a cottage style garden.
This little beauty is actually from the Mediterranean so it likes a sunny position with excellent drainage.
