Primula | Sue Jervis
Double Primroses have been cherished in English cottage gardens for centuries, and this one is stunning! Sue Jervis has pretty double pale pink/buff coloured flowers.
Primulas are easy to grow and put on a tremendous show in the spring garden, their double rose-like flowers always attract comments from visitors to Puriri Lane. Choose a moist, shady spot free from vigorous tree roots. Divide your primulas every couple of years, in early autumn to maintain vigour. Whilst they only have relatively short stems, a little bunch in a bud vase is a cheery little way to brighten up the last of winter.
