Rudbeckia hirta | Sahara
Rudbeckia Sahara comes in very pretty mostly double, velvety flowers which are a selection of tones ranging from a vintage dusty rose, milk chocolate, copper, pale lemon right through to a rich merlot. These fabulous Rudbeckias are a wonderful new addition to the family of "Black Eyed Susans" as they are also known and add a more subdued range of tones from the strong yellows. What you receive will be a surprise from one of the aforementioned colourways. These beautiful flowers also make an excellent cut flower and should be picked when they are just beginning to open. They last well in a vase - between 7 and 10 days can be expected. Rudbeckias are notorious for making their water murky so to combat this and extend their vase life we add a few drops of bleach to the water. Whilst they are annuals, they self sow readily ensuring they will be back next year. The more you harvest the flowers, the more you will be rewarded with more. Plant in full sun in a well-drained position
Height approximately 60cm x 35cm Wide
Plant size: PB2 - Equivalent 1.2 litres
