Salvia apiana is a dramatic salvia that is a bushy evergreen shrub boasting striking silvery white leaves that form tight rosettes - the leaves are up to 10cm in length. The foliage is strongly aromatic and exudes a powerful sage fragrance when the leaves are bruised. The dried leaves have for many centuries been used for ceremonial purposes. A striking plant for a dry garden and looks amazing at night with its reflective night lighting.
