Tanacetum parthenium | Santana
Tanacetum parthenium Santana is also known as Feverfew and Santana Chrysanthemum. A very pretty little perennial that is as happy in a pot as it is in the garden. Especially suited to rock gardens, cottage gardens as well as mixed garden beds it forms a strongly aromatic clump of finely divided fern-like foliage. In mild climates it is evergreen.
Being a double white flower it is an excellent cut flower as well as being suited to drying. It will self sow, so be sure to deadhead it or shear them off to control this if you do not want volunteer seedlings popping up. Flowering from mid to late summer Tanacetum flowers for several weeks and likes a sunny well-drained position.
