Teucrium scorodonia | Crispum Marginatum
Teucrium scorodonia | Crispum Marginatum also known as woodland sage or woodland germander spreads by rhizomes and is a mounding groundcover that has the most exquisitely ruffled leaves with a teeny touch of white on the edges. This plant almost looks like it belongs in the depths of the ocean, it is almost like sea coral! The edges actually look like they have been crimped. In summer it bears spikes of tiny charming lipped, cream to pale yellow-green flowers.
If you are a flower farmer then this is a beautiful foliage plant for adding to bouquets - something a bit different! Happy in a shady spot and will cope with dry conditions once established. A fantastic plant for adding an element of texture or an understory under your plants - or to scramble over a wall.
