Verbascum blattaria yellowRegular price $12.00 Save $-12.00
This verbascum boasts stately spires of primrose yellow flowers with purple stamens. These striking plants flower over a long period from summer through to autumn and cutting back after flowering will encourage repeat flowering. The flower stems rise majestically from a low growing rosette of basal leaves.
Whilst this plant is perennial, it will continue its presence in the garden by self sowing - the seedlings are easily removed when small and transplanted into other positions around the garden.
A full sun position will ensure that this lovely plant flowers to its maximum capacity. It is not fussy about soil although it does like to have a well drained position. Plants are particularly drought tolerant once established. An excellent choice for attracting loads of pollinators to your garden including bees and butterflies and birds will happily feed on the seed heads in autumn.
