Regular price $12.00

Watsonia borbonica is a species that grows from corms. It is dormant in summer and grows in winter, which is the rainy season in its native habitat. It has tall strap-like leaves that grow in a fan arrangement.

This variety grows up to about 700cm in height and flowers from spring and into summer.  The flowers on this particular variety are a soft creamy white and are quite petite at about 6cm in length.  We also have a white variety that is both larger in stature and in flower size.

Watsonia borbonica is a good garden plant as it bears showy flowers. It needs well-drained soil and full sun. During the dormant phase it should be kept dry so requires good drainage. A great cut flower.
