Monarda | Margaret Rose | Lemon Bergamot
A striking coloured bergamot, with lovely dark green leaves and dark rose coloured flowers in mid-summer held on strong stems. Resistant to mildew, although we do find it still gets a little like all of them, but planted amongst other plants of similar heights it is not really noticeable. A fabulous plant for your butterfly garden.
Plants like a evenly moist position throughout the growing season, so adding a layer of mulch will assist in preserving moisture as well as controlling weeds. Deadheading will encourage the plant to re-bloom and flowering can be had right up until late summer early autumn. After the first frost cut back to about 6cm above the ground. Plants are winter dormant and hardy and will come away again in the spring.

- Our freight is calculated by weight and volume. For plant orders, you may wish to order the maximum number of plants that will fit in a box to make freight more cost-effective or perhaps share an order with a friend
- Plant orders will only be dispatched on Monday's and Tuesday's this will ensure that your order is not held in a depot over the weekend
- All parcels are set at "Authority to leave" which means if you're not home at the time of delivery the courier will leave your parcel in a safe place on your property
- Most NZ Post deliveries are a two-day service with the exception of rural and South Island delivery which may add up to two days.
