Siberian Iris are perfect choice for adding a touch of elegance to the garden border. Snow Queen is pure white with creamy yellow at the throat.
Their slender sword like leaves are accompanied by beautiful fleur-de-lis like flowers. Easy to grow these plants will, if given enough space will clump out. A perfect choice for filling your garden beds with an elegant touch. Summer flowering, these plants add glamour to the garden.
Iris sibirica also makes an excellent cut flower. To achieve the best results, plant in a moist soil, or next to water such as at the edge of a pond, in a full sun or a dappled shade position. Happy in clay soils but add some gravel to assist with drainage. Cut back after flowering to tidy up.
Plants die back in autumn and this is when you can split your clumps when the plants are dormant. Grows 90 cm tall and 60 cm wide.

- Middle North Island | $15 minimum
- Rest of North Island | $16 minimum
- South Island | $25 minimum
Please note... Shipping to South Island is applied as Economy by default. If you wish to upgrade your order to overnight courier, please add this to the note section of your order or get in touch with us and we will contact you with the price difference and await your confirmation.
If your order exceeds shipping rates (Shipping rates are calculated to 24kg maximum = approx. 24 x 1 Litre sized plants), please contact us for assistance at hello@puririlaneaddenbrooke.co.nz to organize shipping arrangements.
Upon checking out, the freight charged is applied based on weight and your location, including rural destinations.
- All of our orders are dispatched using NZ Post which is a fully tracked service
- Our freight is calculated by weight and volume. For plant orders, you may wish to order the maximum number of plants that will fit in a box to make freight more cost-effective or perhaps share an order with a friend
- Plant orders will only be dispatched on Monday's and Tuesday's this will ensure that your order is not held in a depot over the weekend
- All parcels are set at "Authority to leave" which means if you're not home at the time of delivery the courier will leave your parcel in a safe place on your property
- Most NZ Post deliveries are a two-day service with the exception of rural and South Island delivery which may add up to two days.
