perfect for pollinators

This lovely alstroemeria is also known as a  Princess Lily or Peruvian Lily and has striking white flowers with a hint of lemon in the throat with darker coloured yellow whiskers. A perfect choice for a pot or in the garden. Plant in either full sun or semi-shade in moist but well-drained soil, we find some gravel mixed in with the soil at planting helps drainage.  Lauren has a long flowering period and will flower for you through spring and autumn.  Plants will appreciate some shelter particularly if your climate is very hot.

Whilst this is a short-stemmed low variety the flowers can still be used in a vase and have an exceptionally long vase life. Twisting and pulling to remove flowers is the best way to remove as this encourages regrowth of flowers rather than cutting.

Lauren is a low maintenance perennial. Mulch soil well, especially in frosty areas. Water regularly in dry weather and fertilise with a plant food high in potassium for best blooms.

Grows to about 20-35cm high x 30-40cm Wide

Perennial | Winter dormant

Plant size: PB2 - Equivalent 1.2 litres
