If you are looking for golden coloured flowers for mid to late summer for your hot garden, then the beautiful award winning Rudbeckia laciniata Herbstsonne which means Autumn sun will not disappoint! This very tall later flowering cone flower features large daisy like flowers that are about 10-12cm in diameter with drooping bright golden coloured petals surrounding a green conical centre that will mature to shades of brown as it ages.
This striking plant flowers flat out from mid summer to autumn and the flowers stand atop sturdy upright stems that stand above the glossy mid green coloured leaves. The seed-heads are also attractive and extend the season of interest and birds love snacking on them!
Winner of the Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit. These lovely plants grow in upright clumps up from between 1.2 - 2m and about 0.9 to 1.5m wide. The plants are super easy to grow and are easy care. Plants perform well in full sun or partial shade in moderately fertile soil but they do like a well drained position. Plants may require some staking due to their height.
The perfect choice for the back of the border for a meadow style garden and also cottage style gardens. This rudbeckia also makes an excellent cut flower so a perfect choice for the cutting patch. Also a great plant for your butterfly garden. Plants can be divided in Autumn.

- Plant orders will only be dispatched on Monday's and Tuesday's this will ensure that your order is not held in a depot over the weekend
- All parcels are set at "Authority to leave" which means if you're not home at the time of delivery the courier will leave your parcel in a safe place on your property
- Most NZ Post deliveries are a two-day service with the exception of rural and South Island delivery which may add up to two days.
